Group Dance Competition Guidelines

Eligibility

Participation is open to students of participating colleges and universities.

Team Composition

• Each team must have minimum 4 and maximum 10 participants.

Performance Duration

• The performance time should be 5–7 minutes.
• Exceeding the time limit may lead to negative marking or disqualification.

Theme

Teams may perform Classical, Folk, Fusion, or Cultural dance.
Performances promoting health awareness, cultural values, or social messages are encouraged.

Music Submission

• Teams must submit their music track in advance in MP3 format.
• Participants should also bring a backup copy on a pen drive.

Evaluation Criteria

Participants will be judged based on:

• Choreography
• Synchronization and coordination
• Creativity and innovation
• Expression and stage presence

• Costume and overall performance

General Rules

• The dance performance must maintain decency and cultural respect.
• Dangerous props or fire elements are not allowed.
• Teams must report at the venue at least 30 minutes before their performance.
• The decision of the judges will be final.
• Certificates will be given to all participants, and prizes will be awarded to the winning
