"Sectarianism, bigotry, and it’s horrible descendant, fanaticism, have long possessed this beautiful earth. They have filled the earth with violence, drenched it often and often with human blood, destroyed civilization and sent whole nations to despair.” These are Swami Vivekananda's words, which continue to guide millions of youth to this day, acting as a beacon of light.
On the death anniversary of Swami Ji is being observed across the world. Swami Vivekananda passed away on July 4, 1902, when he was only 39. Swami Vivekanad Chair is organizing a seminar on his Mahanirvan Day to give tribute the Swami Vivekanad Ji.
The Seminar by eminent personalities, academicians, research scholars, and students will highlight the messages of Swami Vivekananda for the younger generation during the proposed seminar. Sub themes on nation building, spirituality, yoga, youth power, moral stories, and personality development will spread the message of this great saint and lend a hand to promote rational thinking among the youth. The participation will be open for all researchers and academicians all over the nation.
Academicians, Research Scholars, Writers, Editors, Consultants, Administrators, Lawyers, Politicians, Environmentalist, Anthropologists and Professionals from all national higher educational institutes and University are invited to submit papers. The focus of the research papers / case studies can be with respect to the lectures and speeches of Vivekanand Ji to awaken India’s national and spiritual consciousness through his philosophy.
The seminar will be conducted in physical as well as blended mode. Academicians, researchers and scholars from Meerut and NCR can present their paper in physical mode while others can present on digital platform. The discourses by eminent personalities, academicians, research scholars, and students will highlight the messages of Swami Vivekananda for the younger generation during the seminar.

A Poster Making Competition on the theme “Core Values of Swami Vivekananda’s Philosophy” will also be organized as a special attraction of the event. The registration process will remain the same as mentioned above, and the competition is open to all students of the university. Participants may use any artistic medium, including watercolors, acrylics, oil paints, or pencil sketches. The minimum size of the poster should be A3 (297 mm × 420 mm), and participants will be given two hours to complete their artwork.
The entries will be evaluated by a panel of experts from the fields of art, education, and philosophy, based on criteria such as creativity, relevance to the theme, artistic skills, and the message conveyed through the artwork. Outstanding participants will be honored with First Prize (Certificate of Excellence), Second Prize (Certificate of Merit), and Third Prize (Certificate of Appreciation). This competition aims to encourage creativity, promote artistic expression, and inspire young minds to reflect upon and express the timeless ideals and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, thereby fostering a deeper appreciation of his philosophy among the youth.
