ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY

Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU) is a university under the section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, set up under the Swami Vivekanand Subharti Vishwavidyalaya; Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam, 2008 (UP Act No. 29 of 2008) as passed by the Uttar Pradesh Legislature and assented to by the Honorable Governor of Uttar Pradesh in September 2008.

SVSU has been granted the accreditation rating of ‘Grade A’ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University, that houses 18 colleges offering more than 220 professional programs, is one of the premier universities of the country with an international acclaim for its highest academic standards, diverse courses, distinguished faculty, varied co-curricular activities and state-of-the-art infrastructure.

About the college

Keral Verma Subharti College of Science, established in 2013, under the name of Faculty of Science, aims to deliver quality education in the Various Fields of Science Today, the college boasts five well-established, fully furnished departments staffed by a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members. Under the expert guidance of subject teachers, students pursue their academic goals and are encouraged to participate in seminars, conferences, workshops, educational and industrial visits. Regular extracurricular activities are organized to enhance students' academic and personal growth.

In addition to undergraduate and postgraduate courses, the departments offer Ph.D. programs in various disciplines. As part of the National Education Policy (NEP), new courses have been introduced in collaboration with various departments in 2022
